Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied. Jude 1:2
How do we wish each other? Especially around this time of the year. We say “Happy Thanksgiving”, “Merry Christmas”, “Happy & and a Prosperous New Year”.
While all these greetings are good. Jude greets believers in general with a very blessed wish. He says, mercy, peace and love to you. That is the real blessing that we can receive and also wish for our dear ones.
Material blessings come and go, they can be robbed, they rust etc. But spiritual blessings are such that we could enjoy them internally. When we have such things in us, our body reflects them on the outside. Remember the saying, “*Face is the index of the mind*”?
But, dearly beloved, who can have this wish? V 1 says it clearly, those who are preserved in Jesus.
From what should we be preserved? From the damnation that is to come onto this world. How? And the only way is Jesus.
Are you preserved? If in doubt or if not, please reach out and ask the Lord to preserve. Otherwise, it’s going to be very tough. Make sure today that you are preserved!!!
