The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still. Exodus 14:14
In front is the Red Sea – behind is Pharaoh and his army.
In front is an impossibility – behind is an enemy.
In front is no option – behind is danger.
This is the fact.
Beauty of this verse is in – "Be Still" and the Lord will fight for you. "Be still" means stop paying attention to what is going on in the world, and listen to what the Word of God is telling you. In Exodus 14:15th verse, the Lord says to Moses, "Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on". The Lord was expecting the Israelites not to sob over their circumstance but to involve in an action by Faith against human understanding in obedience to His word. In result the Lord promises that He would fight for them.
