For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword – Hebrews 4:12
GOD’S WORD IS LIVING: “Word of God – Jesus” is alive and active, He is same yesterday, today and forever. We read in new testament that Jesus reveals himself to “Saul” and turns him to “Paul”. We don’t know how God qualifies a person. Out of his sovereignty He decides it. He is still impacting lives and adding people into his kingdom.
GOD’S WORD IS POWERFUL: God’s word is all powerful. Scripture says, Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God – Matthew 4:4
GOD’S WORD IS SHARP and PIERCING: The word of God is our only hope. Blessed are those who hear the word of God and obey it – Luke 11:28. It pierces through our conscience and brings healing to our inner man.
Prayer: Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you and lead me along the path of everlasting life, In Jesus name I pray. Amen!!!
