Love – Scripture says about 4 unique forms of Love. Those are EROS – Romantic Love, Storge – Family Love, Philia – Brotherly Love, Agape – Divine Love. When Bible says “God is Love” it talks about Agape Love. God’s love is infinite and unconditional. While we were yet sinners, he loved us first.
Love precedes commandments (Law). If we love Jesus, we will obey his commandments by default. Jesus replied, anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them – John 14:23
Love never fails – 1 Corinthians 13:8. Paul says, three things will last forever: faith, hope, and love – and the greatest of these is love – 1 Corinthians 13:13.
Prayer: Father God, If I speak in angelic tongues and speak God’s word with power but have not love, I am nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I'm bankrupt without love. Please fill us with your unconditional love, In Jesus name I pray. Amen !!!
