The Lord will not allow the righteous to hunger – Proverbs 10:3
George Muller- The great missionary relied completely on God’s miraculous provisioning so he could feed the orphans. One morning, all the plates, cups and bowls on the table were empty. There was no food and no money to buy food. He asked the children to pray with empty plates.
Someone knocked at the door. To their surprise a baker stood there, and said, “Mr. Muller, I couldn’t sleep last night. Somehow, I felt you didn’t have bread for breakfast, and the Lord wanted me to send you some. So, I woke up at 2 a.m. and baked some fresh bread and have brought it.”
George Muller 100% relied on God. The God who met the needs of Muller, will he not meet our needs? In old testament, we read righteous Elijah was fed by Raven. Bible says, but blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him – Jeremiah 17:7
Prayer: Gracious heavenly father, help us to trust you with all our heart and believe that you will be meeting all our daily needs. In Jesus name I pray, Amen!!!
