“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you…” – 2 Corinthians 9:8
The original Greek word used for ‘Grace’ is ‘Charis’ which literally means divine favor, blessings or kindness. While the Mercy of God withheld the punishment we deserve, it is the Grace of God which gives us the blessing we don’t deserve!
In addition, the Grace of God is an all-sufficient Grace. As much as we look to Him for all our spiritual needs, we should make it a habit to depend on Him for all our earthly needs too. Do you have a need in your life which is making you anxious? This morning, acknowledge your dependence on Him and look to Him for help. He is promising you to make His grace abound toward you!
