“Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the LORD, who is with you…” – 2 Chronicles 20:17
The kingdom of Judah was under the attack by a powerful enemy. This caused great terror among them and they all gathered to seek the Lord for help through fasting. The Lord answered their prayers and commanded them not to fear or dread, but to position themselves, to stand and see the saving hand of the Lord, fighting their battle! As soon as they heard the answer to their prayers, they positioned themselves by trusting the Lord, praising and worshipping God!
What kind of a battle, or an enemy are you facing today? No doubt, the battles in life are tough and the enemy is great, but don’t you forget that our ’God is greater than the enemy!’ We have to trust Him and position ourselves to seek the Lord through fasting and prayer, praising and worshipping Him, to experience the salvation of the Lord!
