“Praise the Lord; for the Lord is good; sing praises unto His name.” Psalm 135:3
When we smell a good perfume or cologne which we like or that goes with our heart likeness our immediate response is nothing else but praise. When we see some good things happening around us which is pleasing to our sight or good to hear, we immediately praise, so why can’t we be more thankful to the One who created the world and us. The God we know and believe on is the essence of all goodness. In our own perspective we are the best, now take a moment and think about the one who created us. Should not His goodness be well spoken of? Yes, with our best thoughts, words, and hymns let us glorify His name. We were created for this purpose, and hence it is a joy to us. It is a charming duty to praise the most glorious name of our creator.
All pleasure is to be found in the joyful worship of the one who is worthy of all praise; all joys are in his name as perfumes lie slumbering in a garden of flowers. Similarly our mind should expand, the soul must be lifted high, with the warm heart, to receive His Holy spirit inside us. To make make ourselves capable enough to praise Him. Every single part of our existence must be fully engaged in singing the high praises of our Father, our Creator, our Redeemer, and our Comforter.
Let’s pray: Dear Lord Heavenly Father mighty wonderful God, Father I don’t have enough words to describe your goodness my Lord, my lungs are incapable to hold the breath to sing your praises. The amount of goodness I have seen and received from you is indescribable. Lord but whatever I have, I will bring all to you. Not as my duty, but in response of a joy in my heart. Lord, help me to humbly bring all to you, In Jesus’s Holy name, I pray Amen.
