Christian life is bound to go through persecution and sufferings. Jesus went through these sufferings and came victorious, so we should not fear about it.
We shall not be hurt by the second death, because we are covered in His righteousness. Whatever difficulties and dangers we may face, we need to be prepared to live for Him.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, we are overcomers in Christ by grace through faith and have been blessed with eternal life. Help us to be faithful unto You even to the point of death. Amen!
